O Boeing 757 é um birreator de porte médio classificado como narrow-body (Aeronave de apenas um corredor), criado e fabricado pela Boeing, tendo três variantes, a versão original, Boeing 757-200, a versão cargueira, Boeing 757-200F e a versão mais comprida, o Boeing 757-300.
Foi um sucesso de vendas e até hoje é utilizado por várias companhias, principalmente nas americanas como American Airlines, Delta Air Lines (Operadora da maior frota segundo dados do ano de 2010), United Airlines entre outras.
A produção do Boeing 757 foi encerrada no dia 28 de Outubro de 2004 após terem sido fabricado 1.050 unidades. A última aeronave foi entregue à Shanghai Airlines em 28 de Novembro de 2005. Em Julho de 2010, um total de 945 Boeing 757 estavam em serviço.

Boeing 757-200
The Boeing 757-200, member of the popular 757/767 family of medium-sized airplanes, is a twin-engine short-to-medium-range jetliner incorporating advanced technology for exceptional fuel efficiency, low noise levels, increased passenger comfort and top operating performance. The 757 offers other virtues as well, including great versatility by reducing airport congestion. It can fly both long- and short-range routes and its broad use effectively lends itself to "hub-and-spoke" planning.
